The pub up the road is the Nelson

Its a huge CP and is used to NYTVRCC meeting there
Youll get no hassle

So is that below (H'Gate side) or above (Skipton side) of the Beckwithshaw-Killinghall crossroads?

Are we all up for meeting at the Nelson at 11.30? Then we should get to Bolton Abbey for the appointed midday unless there is something VERY bad happening on the A59.

Those that are coming from south of Leeds/Bradford, there will be a group of us leaving the big Shell petrol station in Pool-in-Wharfdale (3 miles East of Otley) at about 11am to run over the back road through Leathley and Beckwithshaw to the Nelson.

Does this sound ok?

The Nelson is 1/2 mile from the B6161 (Killinghall road), heading towards Skipton.

Sorry folks, not going to make it this weekend. Managed to let the MOT expire while I was ill with flu last week and the 1st chance to get it done in Monday..

Really must start to use the calendar function on my PDA a little better..

Jo/Adam, can you squeeze another on your driveway without it looking like Pool's premier used car lot? No worries if not, we'll join you at the Shell Garage.

Looks like it'll be dry on Sunday - first BBQ of 2004....(time to prepare some industrial strength chicken kebabs). Anyone planning on bringing proper BBQ's or is the general plan just to bring disposables?

Rods/Chumley - come on over, there should be enough space, if not the neighbours are pretty relaxed about overspill parking. Rods - YHM The kettle will be on all morning, come over anytime!

AFAIK the plan is to leave Pool around 11:00 then meet up with the NE people in Harrogate.

As for the BBQ, we're on disposables as the real thing won't fit in the Tuscan!
