Turriff tyres exhaust. Experience?
Discussion
Made more sense in my head! I.e no berating and ranting, simply put if you would recommend or not
The Ibiza did sound nice! Needing it sorted out before MOT and might as well upgrade rather than buy a standard unit(again)
It's only an MG so at least it's not the most complicated thing in the world!

You ask for experiences, then ask for no naming and shaming and finally Ask if anyone has good/bad things to say? Err Ok
You get what you pay for, welds broke on two exhausts I had made there, never had a custom made system since and never had a problem since.

Agree with hollowpockets...have had 2 custom exhausts and had problems with both! Will never go that route again (although haven't used Turrif!)You get what you pay for, welds broke on two exhausts I had made there, never had a custom made system since and never had a problem since.

I have had four stainless systems made by Turriff Tyres and all four sounded incredible especially the fourth one on my Mercedes ML320 V6,
Mk2 Mitsubishi Shogun 3.0 V6 (CAT back)
1999 Mercedes ML320 (Manifold back incl Powerflow CAT's)
Friends 3.8 Ford Mustang (CAT back and what a cracking deep burble)
And another two which my memory is failing to recall the makes
The fifth will be my currant vehicle a 2002 Mitsubishi Shogun Equippe 3.2 (soon)
Another service that I recommend TT for is the wheel refurbishment / repair
All in all I do recommend Julian / Turriff Tyres for custom / standard Exhausts and custom alloys also the refurbishment and repair of the alloys and Gavin for the Audio installation and advice which is in abundance whether it be for tyres, exhausts, wheels.
I took an Audi wheel up today for repair as the previous owner had clouted something solid on the inside of the rim, on investigation by the lads at TT the wheel was badly cracked on the outer rim, so bad that it was de-formed at the crack, so it pays to have professionals deal with these problems, and as the wheel was obviously scrap Julian offered to source a replacement s/h or new, service like this usually only comes in other countrys
PS my mate with the Mustang came all the way from deepest darkest Fife to get his Powerflow system done at TT (after getting quotes from companys down there)

I used Turriff for ordering and fitting some custom silencers to my Ultima a couple of weeks ago. It involved some cutting, welding and jigging and everything seemed really slick and professional. It was a really busy place. They supply Powerflow parts and I was interested that the price they charged me for doing the work was about 40% less than another Powerflow supplier/fitter in Glenrothes had given.
