As expected, full opening now delayed until summer.

Autumn now. (though it does just say autumn, it does not specifically say autumn 2018)

I think there must be a very good chance of stretches opening sooner than Autumn.
Much of the Stonehaven - Kingswells leg look complete, signposts and road painting now underway which suggests near completion. Not often over Dyce way but here its running late?
No, there’s a huge chunk missing from the South side of the Dee bridge up over the hill - i.e. just mud. That looks like one of the bits that’s furthest behind to me. Milltimber to Kingsford looks pretty much complete and would take a lot of traffic out of Culter, North Deeside Road and Malcolm Road if it opened. Albeit you’d end up with a bottleneck at the Kingsford end if you couldn’t go any further.
Blackdog end finished.
It's tarred, white lined and the signs are up.
Does anyone have a projected Bridge to Gantry time for it?

Suggests 22 minutes saved from Ellon to Portlethen, thats 24 miles and 3/4 and hour at the moment, so you would have to average 65 to cover the same distance on the AWPR, but I guess it's longer distance wise.

The last span on the south side of that bridge only went in a couple of weeks or so back didn't it? I remember driving past there a few weeks back just after there'd been another press piece about the AWPR still opening in the spring time and it wasn't there then, and thinking "no chance".Economy Secretary Keith Brown said:
Following discussions with Aberdeen Roads Limited, it can be confirmed that the new road is now expected to open in Autumn 2018. The contractor reported that there have been a number of issues that have contributed to this decision, including the impact of Storm Frank during winter 2015/16 and the recent extreme weather during early March.
Two weather events cited, with a maximum total duration of three weeks is supposed to explain a six month delay!? The first one by his own admission was two years ago! Couldn't make it up.Edited by Jambo85 on Wednesday 4th April 14:44
People will not like that I overheard 2020 as a due date...
Random question - the bridge over the A96, why do they build the sides so steep there is a new landslip every time it rains? If they have done that much earthworks, shirley they could say this land will slip at 45 degrees, so lets make it 20 degrees, not 44 degrees!!!
