AC have closed their Ford dealership in Dundee and I heard similar in Aberdeen.
Looking at Ford's website, it shows the only dealer around Dundee to be A M Phillip. Looks like none of the big groups have any sort of Ford presence anywhere nearby as well. For Aberdeen, it's showing Arnold Clark at Whitemyres Place, Girdleness Road and Craigshaw Road.5 In a Row said:

Cupar, Kirkcaldy, Dalkeith & Peebles Ford are all part of the same group?
Looks like it.When did they get Kirkcaldy, thought it was still Evans Halshaw but clearly not.
Arnold Clark have also closed the Harry Fairbairn Mini garage in Kirkcaldy a few weeks ago. Their Kia garage next door are using the lot to display cars

Makes sense, a few too many dealerships in some areas and many sales are moving online. Looking ahead as things go electric the servicing side is likely to be less busy too. cas20 said:
Arnold Clark loses Toyota franchise and Macklin (Vertu) take it on in Greater Glasgow.
More than just Glasgow. https://www.auto-retail.co.uk/agenda/arnold-clark-...Not sure whether this is a good or bad thing as I have a good relationship with AC Bishopbriggs & have heard some not encouraging stories about Macklin ...

Does anyone know what’s happening to Brysons in Prestwick. They were an MG dealer at one point but now their forecourt is empty
Not far from me - I had no idea, a long established firm as we..Facebook Page says...
https://www.facebook.com/BrysonsCarCentre/
We would like to make all our customers aware that the Directors of Brysons Car Centre ( Walter & Peter Bryson ) are retiring and the company has been sold.
SGN Retail Ltd have bought the site and will continue to operate the Forecourt as Shop but unfortunately the Car Sales, Service, Parts and Accounts departments will all be closing.
SGN took over and have been operating the Forecourt & Shop since the 12th of January and we arranged a 3 months transitional period from that date to allow us to wind down other departments and close trading.
Car Sales, Service and Parts will be closed from the 28th of February but a small number of staff remain on our site until the end of March to complete any outstanding work commitments.
Michael Mohan from our Sales Department will be starting up business for himself with a Car Sales outlet in Elmbank Street, Ayr, should any customers wish to continue their relationship with staff from Brysons then Michael will be pleased to assist.
MPM Motor Company
Currently we are hoping that our existing Service Department will be rented out to a local technician to continue offering MOT, Service and Maintenance facility for our customers to continue to use.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our customers who have supported us over the years, business was founded in 1902 by our Grandfather David Bryson which then passed onto brothers Walter & Jock Bryson and then 50 years ago cousins Walter & Peter
