What Brakes For E93 335i?

Hi All,

Pads and discs need renewing and BMW have quoted over £700 to do the job.

Wont be going that route obviously, so I was wondering what the best ones to get are and from where?

What car is it? I'm asking cos it might not matter so much on a lesser powered car possibly?, I get mine off ebay and fit them myself, simple! a couple of hundred for front and back (335i)

Speak to a respected independant. A brand like Pagid are quite good if you dont want to go down the OEM route. Bear in mind there might be other sensors that might be replaced at the same time, and if you havnt had the brake fluid changed in 3 years or more then that should be changed as well.

Just keep in mind you bought a reasonably expensive car (when new) and as such the servicing aspect is in line with that. Dont skimp on things and go for the cheapest, because you might get bit by the adage of "buy cheap, buy twice".
