rolling roads and tuning

Hello folks looking for some help if possible, my sons race cars and i am looking for a good rolling road where they would help tune engine to carb, there seems to be plenty who do ecu etc but cant find anyone who can tune the carb, we are based in Fife Scotland, any help with this matter would be much appreciated, cheers drew

Have you spoken to SOS Motorsport (Falkirk) or MAC Motorsport (Dundee). Not sure if they'll be able to help but worth a shot as they map a variety of things with good, honest results.

Try the Car Tuning Clinic Ltd in Abbeyhill, Edinburgh. Never used them but I was talking to a guy who said they tuned his 58 Chev that is carbed, and it improved.

Nothing against them. Just theyvare in a hideous location to get to. The are in a railway arch behind Holyrood.

I used the Car Tuning Clinic to periodically balance the Webers on my last Caterham. They did a great job of it, the throttle response always felt super sharp afterwards!

I agree that it’s not the best location to get to though.

Access is pretty easy from the A1 - turn onto Abbey lane, right at the bottom and you're there. I'm not a shill, just live nearby and pass it reasonably often.

So do I. Its more the traffic you are stuck in to get there than the actual roads themselves. Central Edinburgh is just not a nice place to drive into.
