Looking for suggestions for cafes or pubs in South/Central Scotland with decent parking for evening club meets or weekend club drives.
All help welcome!
Thanks

The eternal question for car clubs etc. Good luck with the hunt...good excuse to try a few cakes and coffees :-)

Could The Big Red Barn near Biggar work?
They would want to be forewarned about a large group but could be worth chatting to?

The Rhynd at Tentsmuir Forest between Cupar and Dundee is good. They do their own car related events in summer months too. Owner is a petrolhead and place is full of car memorabilia.

Beech Tree at Dumgoyne just north of Glasgow has a decent sized car park.

What kind of numbers are you thinking of ?

Some PH Sunday morning runs used to depart from Sainsbury's in Darnley. Not so handy for pubs etc.

My local has hosted a few very successful Biker events with up to 80 bikes (could host about 10-15) cars in rear, more nearby.

I have the same PH route down to Ayrshire for a run if interested smile

Cheers,
Dougie.

Looks a decent shout - maybe as part of their Bacon & Brakes mornings! Thanks

Thanks Dougie - think that number of cars would be fine. Just getting options across the Central Belt East and West.

This is a good shout - central between Edinburgh and Glasgow.
Thanks for the heads up - will speak with them before setting up anything.
