Thanks for all the kind words chaps. I'm out of therapy now and enjoying the house (although the bombsite that is the garden will take another year or two).

Camera for arty shots is the Nikon D2X - for snaps, the Nikon D50.

Indeed Steve, cheers for the write-up, me and my two mates waded through it last week (we're Grand Designs' refugees!)

I may have missed this somewhere, but one of my mates asked me if you intended to live there for keeps. Do you see yourself there for a while?

I have no money or energy to move anywhere else!

Plan is to holiday for 6-8 weeks a year Jan/Feb (bit dark this far north) and chill out (read work) here for the rest of the year.

'Cept of course, I already have a list of mates booked in to stay. Have some here already, some next week, and three fellow PHrs are up soon... and I'll be driving the slowest car (bugger).

(FYI... Ferrari 550 Marinello, 996 911 GT3 and Beemer M6). Together we should make a real blether!
