Who is going to Kames this weekend ?
I have entered both days but have not received confirmation that they have enough entries, I know entries were very low a couple of weeks ago so hope there has been a flurry of activity filling in and posting entries off.

I hope is is dry, I don't cope well with damp tracks !

I am, my thoughts exactly on the weather. Went out to run in the engine yesterday, top off, and warm. It's now sleeting!
I'm doing both days and camping!

See you there

Where is Kames? I was thinking that I might come along and watch.

Kames is in Ayrshire, just outside Muirkirk which is between Douglas and Cumnock on the A70, good track, a bit narrow but it has undulations which make it more interesting than the flat airfield tracks - IMO.

John

Camping again and at this time of year !
I will be in a hotel somewhere not too far from Kames, if Eric (Kiltie) gets round to booking something.

Look forward to meeting up with you and the rest of the guys again.

A bit far away just to pop down for the day, might wait till there is one closer to home.

I see you are in Perthshire, it takes me around 3-1/2 hours from Stonehaven to Kames (towing)so depending on where in Perthshire you are it shouldn't take too long, I guess Doune or maybe Knockhill would be the only sprint/hillclimb venues closer to you.

Anyway if you make it along come and have a chat, there are a few PHers compete at these events, I am no 34 this year.

The Sunday is quite well subscribed for such an early event - 50+ I gather - don't know about the EACC clubbie on the Saturday but I suspect it will 'carry on regardless'

One request to anyone going - OK - two requests - be nice to the clerk - he's having to suffer a lot of earache from his wife cos her car's not available and she can't play (anyone who knows her will sympathise ...)

And the other leads nicely on - if anyone fancies putting their moniker on her Race For Life sponsorship form which said clerk will have thrust into his hand on Friday night she'd be eternally grateful!! Says she, shamelessly pinching his PH id!!

Oops - cat out of bag... maybe if Mr Stiglet is going that ought to be cat litter bag ...

That's good news Dave.

The last we'd heard was a bit doom and gloom (your email of 19/03/2006).

See you at the weekend.

Cheers,

Eric

BTW - haven't received final instructions yet (neither has Murray).

Should I have?

Cheers Eric, thanks for posting that !

Forecast looks good then, a bit cold but dry will do me.

How is the entry for Sunday looking, Mrs Tosser said the final instructions etc had arrived and I (A5) am amalgamated with A6, better that than with those screaming buggers in A4

I see they're using championship numbers - very confusing for spectators ( ie they see car number one, then car number 30 then car number 4 etc)

Nothing to unusual about the entry list - no surprises really but I see Wallace has the DJ - he's a big lad to fit into it but I bet you'll drive that thing hard!

I think I could probably pick the winner out of every class but I hope I'm wrong! I want to see some surprises this season!
