Can't afford to miss this....

At the Scottish Motofair at Knockhill 13th & 14th May there will be a 2003 Rubens Barrichello F1 Car running on track, and perhaps a rarer sight for most people, an Enzo FXX running at full chat.

It's likely that both cars will be running on both Saturday on Sunday, alongside the new Scuderia Ecosse's F430 GT race car that will be running at Le Mans, plus dozens of other supercars all on track.

Most shows can't offer these as static, never mind running on track! The website below offers some provisional info, however there's a lot more behind the scenes to go on.

Who else has got this booked in their diary?

Check out the provisional timetable on the website - it says F1 car on Saturday, FXX on Sunday. Can anybody clarify this?

I went along to this last year and was SOOOOOOOOOO dissapointed. KH hardly had any cars on track and the so called exotica that was supposed to be on track was pretty poor...

It's more of a wander round some nice stands and ogle some honeys.

Kids / families will enjoy it though. I just feel for the entry fee you wont see much in the way of spectating fodder. This is unless they took the feedaback from last year and got they;re act together...

I wont be going again but will be interested to hears others thoughts on this years & lasts formats.

Cheers
Cal

The timetable on the website is provisional, the F1 car and FXX will be running both days providing no mechanical issues. The Scuderia Ecosse F430 racer will also be out on track.

This year there's a timetable for the track and the other active display areas so at least you can check it out.

I guess it's down to expectations, it's a car show at heart. However if a £1.2m Ferrari FXX is not exotic enough there's always the wrestling TV.

Are you sure? If so, that's fantastic, as I can only go on the Saturday and my main reason for going at all was to see the FXX (either in static or on track)!

I'm told so.

The final schedule confirming the cars and running times is due to be updated on the website today.

I believe it was published in yesterday's Sun newspaper supplement.

believe it was around 43.16s - and the driver reckoned it had more to give, but he was under strict instructions not to bend it.

Apart from that there was a Zonda, Koenigsegg, Ford GT, Enzo FXX, loads of porsche, ferrari, lambo all being given some on track

That was Miss. Scotland. Can't remember her name; but she was v. pretty. Much better than the blonde who was there (she was last year's Miss. Scotland).

Nice car. How do you get into these events? I was there with my cousin in a 968, would have been cool to have gone with you guys, Is there a mailing list or something?

The majority of us are track day regulars up at knockers and get asked when doing the track days - its the best way to get known by the instructors and get asked to do these kind of things - for us its just a free mini track day.

Well first & foremost - a huge thanks to Greig for taking me for a few blasts around the track in the GT3, absolutely fantastic

Thanks should also go to the big man upstairs for keeping the weather on our side too!

I've taken a good few pics, but I'm about to head out just now - I'll upload 'em later.

Once again, thanks for that Greig, really appreciated.

Oh and thanks to the gent in the 968 CS who also took me for a few laps - sorry I didn't catch your name....
