Ferrari F1 and Enzo FXX coming to Scotland
Discussion
Particularly enjoyed watching the Koenigsegg lapping (but I am biased). FYI it hit 135 under the bridge and the brakes caught fire in the first session. Alan the driver certainly cleared the pipes out, and it seems to be running like a dream. Can't wait for next week, when we will find out if the CCX beats the Top Gear lap record with it's new wing

Nice clip. Must have been very close to us there.

Very much enjoyed seeing the koenigsegg. I'm still shaking after seeing and hearing the F1 car though! Did the commentator say it was doing 190mph down the straight! If you're there tomorrow tell them not to bother with the music on the speakers!!
Yup, he was exiting the hairpin at around 30mph and was then braking from 190mph for duffus
The F1 car lapped in 41.5 today, an average of about 112mph apparently Utterly stunning, as was the incredible FXX - the noise it made was just superb.

I'm trying to work out how I can link these directly to the album - anyone help?
I have loads of high res shots of most of the cars, including the Supercar on-track runners. Let me know your car details and I'll email them to you.

A 41.5 lap must have been pretty exciting! I remember when Ron Cumming was doing 46s in his Arrows a while back (probably last century...yikes!) and that was a farily agricultural (by F1 standards) 3.5 litre car without TC, flappy paddle gearbox, etc.
Have to wonder how quick a modern F1 car would go on a warm summers day when the tyres can warm up properly...

Greig - magic footage. I watched it and thought I'm not actually as crap as I thought, and that was in the afternoon when my passenger got the heebie jeebies and I had to slow down! You can see that I had noticed I was about to get passed in the chicane. Awesome driving from you guys, it was quite an eye opener for a novice - I am assuming that was Gordon car you were in?
