Lossie huh! Not been there in a while. I dunno about bars and Restaurants but you will enjoy the roads, some of the best driving in UK. Enjoy.

So, will you be in a position to take us up for a spin in July?

Rach,

Just found this which may be of interest.

The name of the RAFMSA fella who organises this escapes me but I'll check the regs later on today and post it up. He's a cracking guy.

Cheers,

Eric

I thought that part of the Moray coast was quite temperate. Aberdeen is much colder and I can count on one hand the number of days in a year that snow / ice cause a problem on the roads.

Eric

Sprints are sections of road or track, sometimes a full circuit, but not always, where cars compete individually on a timed basis against the other cars in their class. Classes range from road cars to racing cars, from saloons to single seaters. All very friendly with full access to pits (if you can call them that) etc for everybody, the only constraints for spectators are safety related.

Not sure if any of the guys stay overnight at Lossy but if they do there is bound to be beer about!

Graeme sums it up perfectly. Only thing I'd add is that a really diverse selection of cars enter - from balls-out single seaters to Fiat Pandas.

Some crappy video of one of my runs at Lossie last year - click.

Hey,

New here too, been lurking here for ages though,
Thought I'd reply as one of my good friends is from Lossie, not too sure about the pubs scene but I will ask, the roads all round there are good though, my friend has a Ducati Monster that he takes up there when he can, apparently a blast!

Every year though they have raft race day, home made rafts try to race down from the bridge to the estuary and back, basically its a large town party, I was there last year great fun, this year it's on the 26th and 27th of August.

Enjoy
