Was a good day, struggled a bit with brakes and tyres overheating which contributed to some hairy moments and a wee spin exiting the hairpin.

Unfortunate year really. The 'Gris that replaced the Le Mans accident was not really up to scratch - couldn't pin it down to anything in particular, and never got the chance to have the set up really looked at, before an accident a fortnight ago.
Basically, lost traction on rear offside at 40-45 mph, the car naturally pulled to the left, to correct to the right would have put me into oncoming traffic. No option but to do some offroading, which would have been a soft landing and probably driven back out if all had gone my way: and that is where the Hydro Power pole came into play.

Hence number three being in place. Bugger.
