That's actually the first time I've heard the car from the outside when it's been moving and was certainly the effect I was thinking of. My apologies to any that jumped when the sound hit, but after a while the noise grows on you. Have to put the proper pipes back on for the road or any other tracks. The clutch problem seems to be a straight forward replacement needed so will be finished in a few days. Hope there are a few more outings left this year, and anyone who wants a ride is more than welcome to ask, and hopefully it won't break again for a while.

Never been to an SIDC event so far but I'm not on duty that weekend [yet] so here's hoping. Perhaps the weatherman will keep us dry?
