Is Crail any good?

I've never seen Doune so wouldnt comment. It was the fact that Golspie and Banff were narrower than other kart tracks and if you slipped a wheel off the track at Golspie I'd love to see what the rabbit holes would do you your suspension.
I think Golspie must have been made wider since you were last there - the track is as wide - if not wider - than any other sprint or hillclimb venue, and is one of the best facilities in our championship calendar.
PS - I have just seen the Alford entry list, and it looks as though Stewart Robb Jnr is getting a late 21st birthday present, as he is down as sharing the 3500cc Pilbeam Cosworth with Stewart Snr both days...

Welcome to the funny farm.... Get in touch via the championship website (www.scottish-sprinting.co.uk), and I will make sure you get any championship regulations you need.

Would make sense, last time I was there I was 12 (so 12 years ago!).
There's pretty much a class for everything in sprints isnt there? [em scratches his chin and studies the pic of his SORN'd celica]
Yup - classes for everything and anything. But don't expect to be up there with the leaders in a bog-standard car, as even our road car regs allow for a good deal of modification. You can download the current regulations from the sprint championship website.
That said, you could have a lot of fun sprinting a Celica, and it is much better to use it for that than leave it SORNed and in the garage. Who knows - the bug might bite you the same as the rest of us, and you'll end up selling the Celica and buying a single-seater!

No chance matey, it may get fully stripped and caged and modificated to within an inch of group A, but I just dont see myself in a single seater. Always been a tin top man.
Any use has to be better than its current driveway ornament status. Although the moss thats growning under it on the monoblock is providing mother dearest with an easy gripe to harp on at me about. So its still giving her pleasure
