Have I just made a sweeping generalisation, possibly offending hundreds of people in the process?

Yes but correctly assessed a large percentage of the population of the UK

Yes and then the police can do LOADS of paperwork and then quietly forget the whole thing, cos to be honest it'll just be too much trouble for them involving even MORE paperwork

And the really annoying thing is that we all see them, and know they're out there...

Poluting our fine country...

Maybe it's a good thing to let lots of Polish, Bulgarian, Hungarian, German, French, Russian, people into the country to restore some non Chav qualities and proportions to the population!!

Oh, OK, so maybe not the French.

Yes and we pay our taxes and more taxes and even more taxes on the roads and fuel and bridge tolls, and more all to get this poor service!!

DNA test them all at birth, and instal a CCTV package watching every citizen in the UK at all times, just to protect them from themselves, and we could call it something like, oooh I don't know, "Big Brother" - kind of has a catchy name to it,

Hang on, Deja Vue...

Weird when that happens...

Best thing to do is call 999 and tell them what happened and that you think he is a drunk driver! Cops have to respond asap as soon as drink driving is mentioned.

Yeh but plod would probably find him (if they can) and then breath test him and if it isn't over the limit send him on his merry way.....with him grinning like a cheshire cat no doubt...better to make the formal report backed up by your witness........so what if it causes them paperwork..at least the idiot driver should get done if traced.

And if your lucky when traced he'll have no tax no insurance no licence and no mot ...th esheriff will throw book at him bann him and brush his car to boot!

Now that would make the inconvienence of going to court worthwhile
