Can any one of you competative chappies recommend a decent castor camber guage for occassional use? Demon Tweaks have several around the J100-150 mark that look suitable but, having no experience of them thought I would get your brains involved.

Could lend you one if you want to try? It's a camber gauge only though, part CG4 in the DT catalogue. Certainly was easy to use and helped in the set up.

Thanks Tim but I really need castor as well. Std front suspension on the vette does not allow enough castor for the larger diameter wheels and low profile rubber. At the moment ther is absolutely no self centering on the steering. I have new front wishbones which allow me to increase the castor by several degrees. They also allow me a bit more camber if I want and have lower pick up points to eliminate (hopefully) bump steer.

Thanks again for the offer.

Wouldn't you measure this using the camber gauge? All a 'castor gauge' is, is a glorified protractor to tell you how far to turn the steering.
