Anyone heading to France for 2007's race - interested to know as I've just booked grandstand tickets and camping.

Ferries already booked, hotels already booked, chimney sweep already arranged for children, thinking about Nurburgring one side or the other. Might as well.

I'm thinking about it, its always been an ambition to go, but I'm put off by all the water throwing nonsense etc. I'm definitely heading for the Spa 6 hour Classic in October though, thats a cracking event!

Never been but always fancied it and looking at my rotation for next year I should be home for it, one thing for sure, if I go I will not be camping.

I know some guys who go most years and stay in a chateau nearby, that sounds better than camping.

The ring is hopefully on the cards for me next year, but just bought a house, so we all know where the money has to go first..............................the car laugh

A couple of lod friends of mine went to Le Mans last year and said it was the doggie's! I have always liked the look of the Goodwood Revival...anyone here ever been down to that?

We're going. But we are not camping at the track. That pleasure has been hijacked by the tonnes of boozed up complete chavs who shoot water pistols at open topped cars, and the pikeys who nick all the stuff on the Sunday evening.

Can't wait though! I am getting excited...

I'm going after missing last year.

Will be camping again in a private site in Spay, great facilities and top location 5 minutes drive from the town of Arnage.

Not sure whether to do the Rosyth route again or Newcastle to Amsterdam? What routes have you booked already? How many days are you going for?

I looked at trying to fit the ring in last time but didn't have time. May be interested this time around.

Probably head from Rosyth and suss it out from there.

Won't have time for optional excursions unfortunately, so will just head back on Monday.

Quick visit this time round for me.

Yup thats exactly whats putting me off. I dont fancy a bunch of chavs pouring water all over me and my vette, I'm liable to react to that!

No need to worry, honestly, that stuff only happens in one or two places and you've got to go looking for it really. The roundabout at Houx Annexxe campsite is where the majority of Chavs hang out.

I agree _ u can avoid the places and the times. I may be going back this year but likely to swap LM for trackday at Spa May and then AVD Nurburgring September to include the ring - great event. Mind u, Ive still a deposit on an LM booking!
