Hi,

Any you ladies and Gents know of a decent alarm fitter who can have a look at my car; basically bought a car with an alarm that doesnt work, so need somebody who can diagnose, might be simple , might need a new alarm. Mobile would be handy, but def not essential.

There's a couple of garages that I know do this kind of thing, but I have had bad experiences from them and would rather avoid (and avoid the big bills that come with them).

Cheers, Ross

Ross,

Have you tried Autosonic. They are located in Whitemyres Avenue. I've always found them to be helpful.

Checkpoint have a great auto electrician for all their stereos and alarms. Fully certified for Alarm Fitting too..

I would try Taylors Auto Electrical. They are very good too. Used them myself

Cheers folks, might give checkpoint a bell. FYI, its a mk1 MR2 and it has a Moss alarm...?? Looks pretty old school to me... Hoping its just a case of 'it wont work because I dont have a key fob' which hopefully, is easier to fix.

Thanks Folks.

Very well.. Its just been waiting for its final setup.. Been swapping between the Noble and GTiR, driving it around getting used to the Straight Cut Dog Box..

Got the call that space is being made available for the GTiR next week so its all being finished very soon.. Suspension setup on corner weights, Multipoint Cage going in, New Fuel Pump and mapping to 2.5bar and 9000rpm rev limit... smokin
