I may be coming up for a wee spectate. I also have my bigger lens back (yay!), so I'll be playing around with that.

Cheers,
Iain

I was just thinking that but realised the show's on at Lanark that weekend. Bugger.

Ah yes. Indeed. Hmm. Difficult decision. *flips coin*

I was about to post shocked that you might be risking the sparkly paint on track....

Dont worry the paint was well shotblasted on the last SE run

No problem Jon, hadn't spotted the post about the meet over on vx220.org...

I'm planning on visiting the show on Saturday and up to Knockhill on the Sunday, should be a fun weekend

I am going up as a spectator (but hoping to book for the 22nd June hot marques) so what kind of cars can we expect to see then ? Is it mainly lightweight elise/exige/vx220s ?
Is there likely be any V8's 12's etc, reason I ask is I am trying to get a few friends with yanks to sign up for the 22nd June HM meet - consider that an extreme oversteer warning :-)

There will be everything from buggies to minor vans with V8`s up to v12s - but you`ll see that when you get there.

I'll be up to spectate, saving the car and cash for SIDC and MLR sprint the following week.

If you see a dirty white Evo 6 with Pistonhead stickers on the spoiler that'll be me

I've paid for it so plan to take the Murci on track, and know of another Murci, Ultima, 911 GT3cs, 911 GT3RS will be there and possibly a 355 to add to that will be on track. I guess for me it's all weather dependant as 600bhp is hard to handle on such a small track.

I'm sure the usual track whores will be there in various cars!!

Who knows if dry enough I may even take traction control off!! eek hehe

It kills the power alot on the hairpin and you really need it out of that bend, we'll see how it goes.
