Although we did meet you guys in the three VX220s on the road back (we were on the bike and the 911 turbo). I was the guy who told you that I'm looking for a VX220 at the moment. I was gutted we couldn't have joined everyone for the day, but it wasn't to be. But it was great to be in convoy on the approach to Inverness.
Hello
I was in the blue VX with the short T reg plate at the tail end of that convoy and i think we spoke before we left the car park. Shame you didnt manage to meet up with us - its always good to be able to show someone just how good the wee plastic cars are!
Not sure where you stay but there are quite a few VX's in Aberdeen, Fife and Glasgow now if you wanted to see what all the fuss was about? Drop us a PM if you're near Glasgow or join vx220.org.uk and you can meet us on a run

That was a fun wee blat! That has to be the ultimate 911 Pity about some of the traffic though, especially the grumpy git in the Volvo not letting Jon past
Lee
(other blue VX)

hi every one you might be able to tell by the name that i am Rebecca (the birthday girl)who joined you on your trip and took a couple of hundred pictures on my dads camera and half of them had to be deleted (partly because i was just sticking my hand out of the window and pressing the button)as the guy in the yellow vauxhall behind us found out.
It might be a while until I get some of the video footage that Andrea took up as I'm in the US as of today until May 31. She's got it all on CD but it'll need some editting and hosting somewhere (GetCarter - thanks for the offer, will get in touch). I looked at some of the footage of me us and the Gallardo doing battle and it's quite shakey but you get the idea of what was going on. You can here excited giggles over the combined noise from the Viper and the Lambo!
hi All,
I was in the grey MR2 that arrived with Ug_Lee as my co-pilot doing recce for the June drive with the mr2oc.co.uk. Was an excellent surprise to meet all you guys there at the foot of Applecross! All of the cars (and bike!) were top class and it was great to join the convoy after hearing you all blast off along the road
here's a few pics I took
and the money shot

Hi guys
Top day out! Was great to meet some like minded loons to go for a wee blast. The turn out was great too, hope you enjoyed the roads. Quite surprised with the way the VX's went and the RS too. It's a shame the pics of my car were when it was dirty..... for a shiny R34 pic check here www.extremedetail.co.uk/ on the "gallery" page.
When's the next run?..... Come on Avril, we all know you've got time on your hands....
