Suspension/Rolling Road Setup, Glasgow area...

Guys,

Getting my westfield prepared for the summer, mostly road blatting but with some track/hill climb days.

Any good suspension people who will be able to sort out the suspension, i feel it is a little soft at the moment and also add cornerweighting if required.

Also looking for a good rolling road tuner which can deal with carbs and DTA engine management, i feel the car is a little lumpy when not screaming at 7k rpm.

Would also consider traveling to fife/edinburgh if someone there is reccomended.

Engine is a Vaux XE with QED 420 cams, all steel internals running approx 220bhp.

I've always used AVA just beside Glasgow airport. I've seen them building and preparing race cars there so would assume they're also able either to setup the suspension or atleast recommend someone who can.

ava - never been but dad's had his cosworth on the rollers and didnt like it!!!!

kenny brown - spoke with him a few times but only about cosworths, guys got mega rallyeing experiance, is he still in hillington? im in renfrew so only round the corner.

Ford Motorsport you should use Bill Greer in Beith.

My mate who had a cosworth for 11 years used him everytime.

Not sure his setup, but got this from yell.com if it's any help.

Not sure about AVA, but when I mentioned the Hillington place to someone, he told me a bit of a terrible story about them, but it could have been just a one off but his car was setup ALL wrong, and it could have been really serious!!

know bill greer well, hes good with cosworths/evo/subaru's but not sure how he would go about with a vaux xe, will pop in when im out and about and have a chat.
