Right, I'll cut to the chase - where are they all?

I know how to get to Doune and Knockhill, but where is this Fintray of which you speak, and what about this Forrestburn? Oh, and the ever-elusive Kames?

Where exactly are they all?

Cheers,
Iain

Forrestburn is just off the M8 at the Shotts turn-off....under the TV antenna almost.
Kames is in Muirkirk, forget the number of the road, on the way between Douglas/ M74 and
the coast/ Ayr/ Prestwick.

Fintray is near Aberdeen. It should show up on Google Earth.

If you find Aberdeen (Dyce) airport, it's about 4 miles west of there (off the B977)

Forestburn is kind of half way between Edinburgh and Glasgow (ish)

Kames...well Kames is in a kind of parallel universe all of its own.. no, I've never been there but I think it's on the south side of Glasgow.

I never realised how close to Forrestburn I am.
Next time there is an event on I will wander over then.

Follow the B977 out of dyce, and just after you PASS the B979 on your right, you'll see signs for the spectator carpark on your left!

Double header on at the weekend, and the sun is booked I hope

If you look at the rest of the photos from the link, you can see that Gary was on the grass and heading for the marshalls post after a big lock-up
(going by all the smoke).
The marshall with the flag is "zilspeed" driving

That's an interesting statement given you have no idea where it is, or have ever been there

that was a "joke" (Jim but not as we know it). By all accounts it's a fair place (in a good sense) I was merely making light of that fact.
