Guys,

Need to sort out my brothers stag weekend shortly somewhere in Scotland, prefably somewhere we can get to from Aberdeen by train (Inverness, Perth or Edinburgh would be best).

The only criteria is the day needs to have a few activities i.e. quad biking, karting, white water rafting etc etc followed up with lots & lots & lots of beer on the Sat night.

Oh and if anyone has any advice on best man speaches that would also be welcome

Stayed at Kintrae House hotel, Blairgowrie for a stag do once with white water rafting at Kenmore/ Aberfeldy on the Sat. Absolutely excellent
weekend but might not meet your requirements for beer as it's more
geared up for beer, beer, beer, beer, beer, beer, more beer and beer.

Last Summer a group of us headed to Alvie Estate near Aviemore.
www.alvie-estate.co.uk

They offer fishing / shooting / quads / archery etc etc)
Absolutely magic. Can't rate it highly enough. Granted, we had magic weather but even so.

There were 10 of us in a massive wing of the country house. There's a great restaurant and bar within walking distance (unless you're a big girl's blouse in which case get a taxi!)

E-mail me if you need further info, but the website is very informative.

I had my stag weekend in Perth last year, great city, not too big so still fairly easy to find your way back to your hotel when you're leathered at 5am, decent pubs, clubs, restaurants etc, locals seemed friendly enough too.

Dunkeld is nearby(ish) and has some great locations for white water rafting, zorbing, clay pigeon shooting, quad biking, a landrover off road centre (£££'s) and drinking beer! Try googling a company called 'naelimits', that's who we went with, they're used to stag and hen parties so do their best to make it a good laugh for all.

Give Cally Gordon a phone (07720 126638/01250 873013) and tell him Martin sent you.

He's based in Blairgowrie and specialises in stag weekends. He can organise all the activities you're after as well as accomodation etc.

An 8 seater taxi ride to Perth costs around £25-£30 so you're looking at less than a £10 per head for a taxi from Blair to Perth and back. I grew up in Blairgowrie and am still down that way a lot, hence the local knowledge

Cheers,

Tino (aka Martin)

RDM was actualy at my stag night and i can say for sure that Kintrae house hotel is amazing.
All my mates to this day still talk about it being the the best stag ever.

The people who own the hotel are so cool it is scary.
I dont remember much but i do remember a great night out in Blairgowrie, walking around naked in the hotel drinking banana beer, trying to pull a police man in to a hot tub.
la la la la la la and much much more madness.

Bar never closes and i mean never.
if you want a pint at 3, 4, 5 or 6 im the morning wit your breakfast then no problem.

Rafting was with a company called nae limits who also do other activitis like, quads, paint ball etc. (very good)

Hope you sort something out.
