BTW I had Chicken Pie for lunch with roast potatoes and carrots, bloody fine it was, I was also tempted by the syrup sponge and custard, but decided to leave that and have it at dinner as it gives me something to look forward to

Sounds like it hasn't changed for the better since I was there 3 years ago! Although it must be said I think my problems were more likely a side of effect of the alcohol consumed the previous night than the food

At least I didn't have it twice, I resisted at lunchtime, but temptation was too much at dinner. There isn't much to look forwrd to here, a little sponge and custard brightens the day a little - what a sad life I have !
