Eventually over the years, a form of Darwinism seems to have reduced the ratio of non local to local winter accidents.
Now, I know that Winter's got nothing to do with this, but, are we going to see a similar situation with our Southern Superhirers?
We all know , in fact we are total experts when it comes to sizing up the probable movement / action of a sheep grazing on the verge. We know that the Dutch motorhome on a single track road IS NOT GOING TO PULL INTO the passing place .
I suppose the trend may yield a larger selection of filling stations selling Superleaded, and maybe a few more interesting scrapyards.

(Particularly given the roads around your way, as you and I both know)
(By the way, are you around this weekend? I'm fancying a last hurrah with the S2k)

I'm around, watch out for the weather though west coast seems headed for four days of snow. If you do come up - e mail me - we'll meet up for a snowball fight.Edited by Famous Graham on Wednesday 30th January 00:36
I have got no idea where the feck it is......but I'm in.......
911 (993) Turbo 4 (will look like TurboS by then) at the moment but likely to have an additional masterpiece also, will update soon.
Could possibly also have a 964 Speedster and a few other things there like a 360 and a 355.

This sounds really good to me to Steve, and stunning location, I have a slightly newer vette, a cacophony of V8 rumbling.....
Like to take that trip with the Sagaris - if available take the run with you?Keith
Fine by me... Some time around Easter, I'll hopefully get the go ahead and I'll then measure up the space, which will determine how many cars can comfortably fit. If there are more than that number, we'll devise some sort of overspill area so that people will at least still come (hopefully)... I have to say, if the weather is good - not only is the drive up spectacular, but the day is a lot of fun too. (There's a ceilidh the night before, usually finishes about 8 a.m. and a street gig in the evening which also goes on most of the night.
(Although I think the car thing would be arrive at 13.00 - 13.30 and leave anytime after 15.45 - so that those with long drives can use the light)
If I manage to book the helicopter chap (It's the LZ that's the issue), it'd be great for anyone with a camera!

edit to add Gary's pics
