Skyline sounds great.

If you check out www.shieldaig.org and then click on accommodation you'll find a bunch of B&Bs and two hotels (the first three listed B&Bs are actually in or by Shieldaig - all very good). There is also a campsite in the village - but make sure your tent is midge proof! If you go B&B - book early - the village has 600% more resedents on the weekend of the fete. Overspill places include the Applecross inn or B&B's in Lochcarron (both about 30 mins away).

As soon as I get the official 'go ahead' (April'ish') I'll e mail everyone on this thread with dates etc.

I just looked at the forecast for Fort William tomorrow. I think I'll write off the idea of a last fling around the Highlands. It would probably turn into a last fling INTO the Highlands.
