Fellow MacPistonheaders, which tuner / garage do you use?

Noel Flannery at V8 Sports & Classics in Drem - top TVR indy garage (and other stuff too I imagine!)

From a previous post, he's got a Civic VTi. Don't think Noel would know what to do with that (although he did work for another Jap company at one point - Mitsubishi)

Yup, I drive a Civic Vti.

I was really just asking out of curiosity (read noseyness!) more than anything else....

I use Seditas Cars in Prestwick

Hope you don't mind me hijacking the thread a bit. Does anyone know of a decent rolling road/tuner within easy reach of Edinburgh who understands Chevy V8s?

I have a couple of not very well set up engines in my Ultima and my brother's Camaro. Not looking for anything too crazy hp wise (engine builder claims 456bhp/505lbft at the crank on my Ultima - on US 92 octane (AKI) gas) but I was hoping I'd find somewhere that knew about 4 barrel Holley carbs, MSD ignition, etc.

Oh

I'd reccomend them to anyone, wouldn't take my cars to anyone else.

Edited to say - If you want the tel no. or address, mail me via my profile (just in case I'm not supposed to give out commercial no's or addresses on here)

Alex- where abouts are they in Prestwick? I'm from Troon when not at uni and I have to admit I have never heard of them.

They're in St Quivox Road - just off Main St. I can confirm they have good reputation - not used them myself cos I've got TVR, but know people who have and recommend them.

Yeah, that's right - St Quivox Road, just off the Main Street. Ask for Michael and tell him you were speaking to Ian.

I wouldn't think it would matter much what you drive, whether it be a TVR etc as they service Ferrari's, Aston's etc regularly

Yeah, i know that and seriously considered them for handyness, but want to keep the TVR service history on the car intact so have to travel a bit.
Its a real pain in the arse not having a TVR dealer or even a good Indy nearby, but doesn't put me off owning one...

Robert - are you from Irvine by any chance?

I could be putting two & two together and coming up with five, but a while back, a mate of mine mentioned of someone he knew of with a TVR & a 'blade in Irvine..
