Rolling Road Morning - Late Notice

There will be a rolling road session at Dastek in Dalgety Bay (they make rolling roads) on Sat morning 0900->1200, 20 (this is what Dastek charge - nothing in it for me) quid gets you 2 power runs with exhaust gas analysis. I have 5 elises in various states of tunr going along, have room for probably another 5 cars.

Some other automotive exotica would be interesting to see compared to the relatively low power Elises ;-)

Is there likely to be any opportunity to tweak things between runs? I think my timing is a bit out (trace pinking under light loads) and would like to fix it.

If not it would probably be a good opportunity to baseline the engine anyway before I start modding it.

The car is an Ultima GTR with a 383 ci Chevy V8 which the engine builder claims puts out 456 bhp and 505 lbft.

Dave, I expect we could arrange things to give you an early and late run, none of the elise mob will be playing I expect, unless one of them sneaks in a quick tweak with a laptop . . .

If thats possible then great. If not, no worries. It's all mechanical dizzies , jets and such like on my beast at the moment...hopefully by the end of the summer I'll be able to play with settings on a laptop like the rest of you though!

Ok gents here's the scoop . . .

The Dastek R/R is fine for 600bhp+ . . . so no worries on maxing it out w.r.t power.

The day will start at approx 0930 and end at approx 1200

There will be approx 10 cars there.

Dastek are happy with that number and the varying power outputs/types of cars.

They are on Ridge Way just opposite the huge ORANGE coloured building - you cannot miss it.

I am meeting various Elises at the McDonalds at the south end of the bridge at approx 0900 and will be at dastek by 0930.
