MOT time again Corrosion on the chassis, they said. I trundled down to Peninsula on Saturday to have a look. F*ck! Both outriggers are buggered, and there are also a couple of cracks here and there on the chassis. We decided that over a period of time, the body will be removed, and the chassis work carried out. I also thought that while everything was easilly accessible, the rear wheel bearings should be replaced, the driveshafts reconditioned, new rear discs and pads, and the rear calipers need stripping down and rebuilding. Oh, and new shocks and springs all round as well. That's this summer off the road. Perhaps see some of you next year!! Rich.
