Hi Wyn! That's looking really good, wish you'd done that to your old one before I bought it. smile Is this one going to be a keeper?

O/T Do you know the full spec of the engine in mine? Valve sizes, head spec, compression ratio, cam and any work done to the bottom end? I'm having a purge on her at the moment as, although the Cerb is a real hoot to drive, I'm missing wedge driving. Also the new OH wants to drive it!!

Hi Karl. I rang J.E.Engineering when I had yours but they didn't have the build sheet for it. What the chap did say was it was a torque cam & that they did a particularly good job for Mr Heart as the car was stolen from their premises & found in France with a boot full of drugs!!
Funny thing is, my current engine number is only 3 away from yours so must have bin built very close to each other.

Keeper? well, recently had the 'me or the car' discussion so will be inviting offers soon... frown . banghead

Right, well, anyway, still after one or a pair of metal bonnet TVR badges.
Also the front seats need a refurb so was thinking of getting a pair of old Recaros & having them re covered with the TVR emblem on. Good idea? or keep it original? Bearing in mind the originals aren't that supportive or comfy. scratchchin

I couldn't find any Recaros to fit. MX5 ones are supposed to be OK, I used a pair from an MG TF:-

Get the recaro seats and have then recovered, they are so much better to be in, better support, looks and you dont roll around the inside the car holding on, well worth it...

Great news, keep the pics coming.

But I hope it doesn't stop you from doing you true vocation. The BBWF Countdown.
