Fuse Box Replacement

Has anyone looked into thepossibility of swapping the fuse box for a series of RCD devices as fitted to most houses these days ? It occured to me that I am always buying fuses, and, although cheap, its a pain when you blow one late at night, and in a remote part of the country ( yes, I do drive my 400SE at night ! ) I think TowerView were offering replacement fuse boxes with the new RCD types, but I am waiting a response from TowerView, with prices.
