Just wondering which UJ's you bought from CBS, e.g. the "Part Number: UJF" one - which is Size 80mm x 38mm and has 14mm (9/16") x 36 spline at both ends?

Hi Adam, recently replaced the top (i.e nearest bulkhead) UJ on the 390. Got it from TVR Parts, part number TVR 025H 115A. £51.80 plus VAT and postage. It was a straight swap.

Hi Adam, Yes that's the one i got, it appears to be a standard part across many vehicles. I'm still intending to remove a spline or so either side of the split to make it fit the steering rack too but haven't got around to it yet. I assume parts meant for a Ford will already have this so i might try one from a Ford specialist.

In that case it looks very similar to the LR ones which are made for $1-$2 in China (100,000-off quantities mind) and sold under the Bearmach and/or Britpart brand for £8 to £10 in the UK. As they are so cheap I reckon I'll order one just to try it.
