You folk may have guesses by know that I've just bought a new (new to me) car (400SE)

And of course it's gone straight into the garage to be sorted out (learnt this from my old TVR)

The latest question is...

I need a new electric cooling fan (old one goosed) where's the best place to get one that will do a better job than the old one, which looks pretty rubbish?

As ever, all help appreciated

Also fit an overide switch while you are at it. Must do for me for the last 8 months. May get around to it yet.
Tried Wedge Automotive?

I spoke to Wedge today they said they'd look into it for me.

They seem pretty friendly but they still haven't got back to me yet and I couldn't get through to them in the afternoon.

It's just that I'm in a bit of a rush for it.

I'll give them anoter bell tomorrow.

BTW: did I really write Coolong?

hi Bob i fitted a kenlowe fan, came next day, easy to fit, very helpful on the phone. No problems so far.
Did you get my email about the wheels you said you had.

The 520 is using a couple of Chimaera/Griff fans after eating several Kenlowes.

Wedge suggested a Griff fan. I'm waiting while they check if it'll fit.

Wedge never did get back to me. So I've plumped for an original fan (plus cowling) setup from Harrogate Horseless Carriages.
They've assured me that it will do the job just fine.
I expect it will since I've just fitted a new radiator too.

The price was £120 ish plus carriage and the dreaded.
A little bit ouch but at least it's done quickly (should arrive tomorrow) and there's no messing about trying to make it fit.

Cheers for all your help fellas!
