Well just my luck

planning to go out in the 350i to get the Dutch version of MOT tomorrow, started it and it immediately idles erraticly, idling ok and then suddenly stalling and jumping back every 30 seconds or so. My ignition system is still pretty fresh so first thing i'm gonna check is vacuum leaks. Any other tips on how to find the culprit and possibilities?

Fuel possibly pressure, check connections at the rectifier pack. On the wing?

Check the spark at the king leads then the individual plugs.

did you check the aux air valve?
Had a similar problem a new aux air valve fixed it.

Hi Mate...I had erratic idle and stalling when coming back to idle from speed..I also had an adjustable fuel regulator that showed erratic fuel pressure totalling 10 psi drop and rise...A couple of weeks later my fuel pump stopped working.

It sounds fuel related....Also check that the ECU plug is fully home as this can give symptoms of incorrect timing and fuelling...Ziga
