Sorry Chris...Just being over enthusiastic....

The greyhound rang this morning and said..."Woof woof ruff" which means we have a booking there at 12pm onwards on Saturday 12th December..I have anticipated 10 but if any more wish to join us then i will need to know so that i can let them know...I will see what sort of menu they can sort out...Apparently the car park is ours.....

If all is well, then I might be able to come along. So, you can pencil me in temporarily and I'll let you know nearer the day. The location is convenient for me and it sounds good.

Sorry I did read it but missed the hound references - yes north of the river so quite convenient. Keep me on the list, even if we finish around 3 or 4 I'll be back for 5 so that's plenty of time.

Hi Adam ..People generally only stay for a couple of hours so we would probably be gone by 3pm...It is more of a bit of lunch than an evening meal....Ziga

The car park will only be 'ours' if there's no one else there! It's a big car park and we could all park at the end furthest from the pub entrance but it's all just one area; you can see it on Google Earth.

The best way to get to it, is to head towards Southend on the A127 and go left up Childerditch Lane (it's signposted) then turn left. Other routes get a bit complicated, and note there's no access up Childerditch Hall Drive (which is signposted Childerditch Industrial Park or something similar).

Hi Peeps...just waiting to speak to someone at the Greyhound...Are those of you who are on the list still coming?...The weather does look a bit poo..But I'm still going, My wedge doesn't leak.
The menus are fairly extensive so it might be better if people flick through the menus on the info site.....
