I've seen a late-model 'US-spec' 280i with the Grandad switchgear.

I've seen a late 350 with 400 vented bonnet, oz wheels and a late dash and switch gear

And I know of a 1989 350i with Scorpio/Orion switchgear...Big brakes and large driveshafts fitted from factory...We think it was destined to be a 400SE but perhaps the buyer changed his mind..However now it has a 400SE bonnet and a 5.0ltr HC Griff engine...Destiny is a funny thing...Not a matter of if but more of when....
