Thanks Adam and Wayne. They do get under the skin and into your blood! I love the fact that almost 10 years after buying my first Wedge, so many of you who were around then still are! Says a lot about these wonderful beasts!

Hi Rick, I sold 'Priscilla' to Gary. I like you bought one about 10 years ago and couldn't resist the urge to get another.
'Priscilla' is a very sound car with excellent chassis and full stainless exhaust and manifolds. I had the headgaskets and water pump replaced for Gary and the engine checked over (cam, valves, bores etc) and all were in very good order. Gary has since replaced all the tired mechanicals so I think you've bought a terrific car there.
Go ahead and enjoy the Wedge experience all over again!!!

This is what "TRUE" Wedge enthusiasts do...They inform prospective buyers of all whats been done and in most case what needs doing...Recently there has been a couple of rare Wedges come up for sale..Top money I should add but the sellers are traders professing to be enthusiasts and in fact hiding some very scary details as regards to these rare beasts, Obviously its against PH rule to name and shame...Mores the pity but the truth is out there and there is no escape....We are on to you...

Thanks Roger. Gary has been very upfront and honest about the car. His enthusiasm for the TVR brand shines through and it is always a more 'comfortable' purchase when dealing with people such as him. And yes, he's left me very little to do on the mechanical side!

Gearbox is fine as long as you stay in first and don't use reverse, electrics are fine as I got Zigga to check them over as Eric Morecombe said I playing all the notes but not necessarily in the right order same goes for the light switches in fact all the switches and sometimes the boot actually opens but whatever you do don't go out in rain and expect the wipers to work

And she's home! Had close on two hours driving today. Roof down, 2 degrees and can't feel my hands (forgot my gloves). Fantastic smile

Does look good the old girl, look forward to you finishing her off, I was going to get the seat done new footwell carpets, all loose leather and vinyl stuck back and cleaned, dash and glove box veneer renewed, l was not sure what to do about paintwork but probably some panels sprayed and a good detail, get engine bay detailed and chassis cleaned and treated then that would be a great Wedge, hope you enjoy finishing her off
