Two of them have flat spots (hit kerb during accident a decade or more ago) that will need professional attention and I'm missing one plastic hub cover. Tyres are 205/60/14 which will obviously need replacing.

Thinking about getting them repaired, blasting all the paint and crud off, refinishing with lattices painted body colour and picking up some tyres to give the car the original look.

Thoughts?

The hub covers may be worth more than the wheels!

Right then.

I recall buying the 5 spokes because the lattices were such pigs to get clean...

I'd say keep them because in the quest for "originality" someone sometime will want 14" wheels and be willing to pay good money despite the condition. Assuming of course you have the space to store them.

I see from your profile you live in Perth Australia so unless there are any Wedge owners there looking for a set of original wheels then I would just sit on them until they become like gold dust, but yes they can be refurbished , get a quote from your local wheel repairers

Gary, I may well now have the only Wedge in Western Australia, so there's zero chance of them being in demand over here unless they were fitted to anything else. Tyres seem reasonably cheap. Can't hurt to get a quote I guess, although the more I can do myself the more viable the job will be.

Where should I look for a 4th hub cover....? I know this is a much studied and discussed subject but I'm not sure what the current state of play is?

What wheels do you have on the Wedge ? if they are not the original ones then it might be worth getting the others refurbed and put back on and sell the ones you have on, just a thought

Centre cover, ebay or ask on here or facebook wedge owners section also wedge buy and sell on there

That looks fantastic but in my humble opinion it would lock better with the original Lattice wheels

Anyone got a Red Wedge with original Lattice wheels that can post up a photo so we can have a vote

Defo best with painted centres IMO. Funny I haven't had 1000s of P.M.s offering a hub cover :-(

I've had a set of 14" lattice's in my garage gathering dust for 14 odd years. No one seems to want them.
