Front ARB drop link - origin?

Hi gents, does anyone know if the original ARB drop link was a factory special or an off-the-shelf item? My Steve Heath ones are rattling a little on the 390SE so was thinking of putting some standard ones on for the time being. Anyone got a spare set they would be willing to sell?

You could call Neil at ML performance...The granny and cortina drop links both look different from the Tasmin type...?

Thanks Mark - last time I checked Neil's website I can't remember the drop links being there, just the bushes. I'll give him a call. Cheers.

Thanks - yes I was involved in that thread and I did knock together a new drop link but there's always a slight rattle with the links moving on the bolts. My 350i has the old original solid links, but with new poly bushes and it's lovely and quiet. The 390 has the Steve Heath drop links and the slight rattle annoys me!! Cheers.

I took my 390SE out for a spin yesterday to have a listen to see if I could hear my Steve Heath drop links rattling. I think you must have much better hearing than me

If I park the car in the garage and rock it up and down I can also hear them rattle. I've ordered an alternative drop link as a trial off another car which should arrive tomorrow - the dimensions appear to check out so it will be interesting to see if it fits. If it does then I'll let people know the part number.
