Hi

Same from me, lets get as many Wedges and other TVR down there next month, as realistically that may be the last month weather wise we may have this year.

Good turnout at the ACE tonight. Good to see you Gavin and Andy and a few others. Four wedges and a Griff in the TVR section plus many other makes of British sportscars. A friend of mine turned up in his Lotus Esprit turbo. A few Jags and even an immaculate e- type plus many other interesting cars. The weather was nice, An altogether, another enjoyable evening.

Great to see Wedge looking as good as ever, hope you are still happy with it.

Still miss it frown

The problem with the Ace meets is that it is a pain to get to for 6.30pm.

Plenty of TVRs out that way - the Berks TVRCC meet is very well attended all year round.

You're right though, efforts should be made to attend next month's meet.

It's every third Wednesday of each month. Next one would be September 20th. Starts at 6pm but most cars start arriving after 7pm. It's best to arrive around 7pm or before if you want to get a good parking space though there are cars that turn up as late as even 8pm or after.

Hi Mark

Nice to see that pic again, I think that's "Phantom Wedge" red 350i S2 beside me and Gavin and I think you were the other side of the car park!

Just watched five minutes on YouTube.
I thought he was hilarious but maybe that's because I'm half German!

I have been to the ace many times before and will get up there for the following month and hope there is a good turnout.

Hopefully, Wednesday September 20th will be the biggest TVR meet ever at the Ace Cafe to celebrate the 70th etc. At the moment the weather is looking promising and hopefully it'll be good, but you can never tell. Still, the more TVR's turn up the better. I'm looking forward to it already. Don't forget there is good food and drinks there too.

Doubt it, think you will find the biggest tvr turn out at the ACE cafe is when we all met there and took a petition to Downing Street to save the factory and you only got in the car park I you agreed to take a worker to Downing Street as I did, it was very emotional 100,s of TVR,s from all over the country turned up and brought London to a standstill
