Blimey Davidf! I don't know what you've done to upset Steve, but he's really gunning for you!

Perhaps he covets the shiny things

Absolutely nothing! It's a bad day if we can't have a little friendly banter...

As for coveting shiny things, the only extra bit of alloy I have on the 520 is a triple throttle plenum. Nuff said I think.

I think the Wedge is the kind of car that could get away with a few toys like flashing LEDs and things, 'cos it looks like it ought to retract its wheels and fly off (a la DeLorean in 'Back to the Future 537' or whichever it was ;-)
It's the silly little hatchbacks with the Frenched handles, big wings, blacked windows and humungous wheels that make me titter.

:titter: (well it was worth a try!)

True.

And as we all know - there's no such thing as a standard TVR

Steve to quote Lock Stock here ... you can have a gold plated rolls royce as longas you pay for it.

Come to think about it, if you replaced the standard fuel gauges with LED's you could save a few gramms

Post them up man!

I'm getting a cheque off to Karl this week.

I've decided to gor for the Bezels, Gear Knob & Handbrake Handle package.
£80 all in sounds pretty good to me.

I believe Karl's also got a few other shiny projects on the go at the moment.
Hopefully he'll send us some pictures soon.

I just drove my 350i at night for the first time last night. I noticed that there was no light in my dashboard at all. That meant I couldn't see my broken speedo, so no biggie. But I was just wondering how the light is supposed to work?
Perhaps I should pay a visit to Maplins too.

there is a neat piece of technology that illuminates the speedo called a tungstan light emitting filament or light bulb. The fibre optic stuff is for the switches only.

This will teach you not to underestimate my stupidity. I just found the switch for the dashboard light. Turning it on seems to make a huge difference.

Where did you get your steering wheel from?

It came with the car. I believe it was a factory fitted or dealer fitted option.
Incidently, you will notice on one of the pix the wood effect door trim has also been removed, and now is aluminium...
All i did was remove the trim, and using wet and dry, remove the wood enamel to reveal the metal backing.
