Mr Smith

You made a boob selling your SEAC-best spec ever............... (admit it............)-if I had not bought my Griff 5 litre powered TVR 400 SE then I would have had it in my garage-no questions asked.................... How did you find the Porsche ? 996

Cheers

Hi Lloyd,

I loved my SEAC chapter. But was quite happy to move on. So many cars out there! Got a Porsche 964 - same vintage but very different animal.

If I had deep enough pockets, I'd keep them all of course.

That's my dilemma at the moment. Love my Wedges but also not getting any younger and so many other cars I'd like to try........

Hi Keith,

I'd like to try and have as many characterful, car ownership experiences as I can (without losing any money!). Trouble is, you can easily get attached to them. I've had my Porsche 996 C4S for over three years now. Has wanted for nothing. My fourth Porsche Centre service is coming up in April. Probably time to sell and move on soon after that.

I've had the 964 C4 for just seven months. Have spent about £3k on it so far (new wheels, new tyres, some paint, etc.). It's great fun and I'll probably keep it for 3 years too.

Other marques beckon...

Best,

Geoff

Looks like the very last SEAC (J15 EAC) sold this afternoon at Barons auctions for £26,500.

Anyone on here?

Hi, yes I did see it advertised with Amore a number of weeks back. I love the colour, but surprised it hasn't sold yet. There were a couple of other lads interested in the one I bought but mine does need a fair bit of recommissioning. I know Amore also sold Waynes electric blue one the other year. Cheers.
