Anyone know a part number for the Heater blower switch, They were also used on S2, S3 Esprits and TR7's. My switch only seems to work on second setting.

Try taking the switch apart and cleaning the contacts
I’ve rescued a couple of switches that way

Has it always been like that and does the car have AC?
On my 350i FHC, the first position of the fan switch put the AC on and the second position put the fan on.

Well your motor is OK then. Have you checked the ballast resistor? This is what slows the motor down to provide the slow speed.

See the post on Friday 3rd March 2017 on THIS thread.

You may find all you have is a coil of wire or some other lash-up to provide some resistance to slow the fan. Is this is the problem then simply wire the first position on the switch via the simple ballast resistor I used.
