That was Dominics Wedge...When he told me it was over 200bhp but there was no record of engine work in the paper work?....Must have a different cam at least...Result...smile

Ahh, Haven't been looking at the forum recently and just spotted this smile

Firstly, welcome to the world of wedges driving

I Hope you get as much joy and fun out of the 350i that i did. Was sorry to see it go but getting the 280i back on the road meant it had to

yeah, the rolling road printout was with the car history when I bought it - the previous owner again wasn't sure what had been done to achieve this bhp figure. I didn't really want to take the engine apart to find out and never had it on a rolling road myself to see if that 220 quoted was accurate. however, It felt quick.

Hi Trace.

I must admit, I thought i had the correct plugs in but I see others are using the 6ES so stick with them if that has helped sort that hesitation ..
haha, I forgot I left the rotor arm and dizzy cap in the boot - Thought I would though as I don't have a v8 now !! glad they have come in handy.
Gimme a shout if you need any other info etc..

If you want to PM me for a chat, your're more than welcome to.
Cheers
Dom
