New SEAC acquisition

was it advertised for sale or was it a through-the-grapevine purchase? Had I known it was available I would have sold something to buy it myself (kidney, leg, cerbera ..) such is my misty eyed emotion seeing it again after all these years!
About 12 years ago I had the chance to buy quite a nice seac for 9 grand. Kicking myself now!
Was a through-the-grapevine purchase. Been looking for a good one for years. Seen many, no all I think, that have come up over the last few years, but all required more expertise than I have to put right and hence didn't make financial sense if I had to pay for an engine rebuild and/or respray and/or re-trim and/or body-off chassis work. This one is a true Aramid Composite example which means lighter, but poor shut-lines and wavy surface, but I can live with that! On the plus side, it was obviously originally owned by someone that got it into as good as possible condition and probably never used it in the wet, so it is more like a 3 year old car than 31 years old in terms of condition.About 12 years ago I had the chance to buy quite a nice seac for 9 grand. I'm really pleased it's kept its number plate after all these years too. Suits it perfectly.
I'd like to say if the time ever comes to sell it please bear me in mind as it's the one seac I'd like to have, but I suspect seac prices will just keep going up and up and up. I'm very jealous but in the nicest possible way Enjoy!
