Hi,
Should there be a gasket between the plenum chamber and its base? I have just removed my plenum to refurb it but theres no gasket at its base.
Some suppliers list one but others dont so not sure if it should have one?
Appreciate confirmation?
Cheers

Not on the V8! The Capri one would be for the v6....

On the v8 we just use some blue sealant.

Ahh.
That's why mine doesn't have one then. There was evidence of a sealant when I removed it.
Thanks !

Just make sure face is undamaged and uniform then de-grease brake/carb cleaner/or a similar solvent then apply a light smear of Hylomar or Wellseal etc same applies to the plenum housing
