Just for base setting my car up after replacing the bushes…

Can someone measure the length of thread exposed on their front tie bars?

Just want it good enough to get to the wheel alignment centre.

Also - tips for a garage that knows their stuff on wheel alignment ? Camber and caster seem to throw many quick fit garages off !

I had a nightmare getting my wheel alignment done. The system they use is obviously electronic and has profiles loaded for every car except the wedge it seemed. So I had a look and the only TVR profiles loaded were for the S and a TVR450. So the figures I had matched the TVR450 so I asked him to set to that, to which he refused because he said that wasn't my car. Had the same story in 4 garages until someone eventually agreed to set up a wedge profile. I was nearly at the point of getting out the string and axle stands. Couldn't believe how much changing the springs and shocks puts the tow out...
