sadly mine is going it for yet another spray job on the wing on monday, hopefully they will get it right this time, everything else they have done has been very good.
Hmm - don't want to put a damper on things but that looks a bit flimsy to me - I would rather have tabs both top and bottom, to prevent them flexing. Or a couple of U bolts around the front-back tubes.
Mind you I can't really see the extra bracing pipe you put in, so maybe that's sufficient.
Let us know how it drives!

Thanks for the comment Adam.. it really is very substancial but you might have a point ... I can always add a top bolt and plate as you suggest.. but even as it is - it still has as least as much contact area as the original.
This week end will be attention to the cooling system as the header tank vent pipe broke off and they appear to be rare items will temporarily repair it with fibre glass. Someone had done this before with only filler and it lasted at least 18 months and then its off to plan the alloy construction for a new improved one. Anyone know how to remove the pink dye from the chassis as what was white is now very pink wife likes it but not for me.
Just to pass the time I will also start removal of the engine from the Esprit which was fire damaged 10 years ago.
