Has anyone got any info on the PeterSmith 450SEAC? It looks and sounds fantastic but seems a good price from a dealer also. Too good to be true again?

I have a strange noise that seems to be getting louder in my head......

Well it's been sold - so no playing in a SEAC for me today. He would tell me the price either.

Serious question here !
Just how much quicker than my 91 400se is a 450 (or 420) SEAC?
I mean, are we talking total humiliation or just "usefully noticeable" ?

About 20% quicker, but its not just that its all the flames and thunder that goes with it..

off to down a couple of pints to numb the pain Steve.
one of them is full Kevlar to, no stop it.

I went to see it today, they offered me a great price for my 400 but then again it was much better than the SEAC! dont get me wrong the chassis looked in great condition just well waxoiled, the body and interior pretty good too but the engine was grubby and with all the air conditioning fitted probably slower than my 400 too! last service at Wedge auto, biggest bill I could see was £1300 ICE , again the weight of the boot amp needs that extra 500cc
I have seen a lot worse though! just couldn't go through the restoration process again.

Andy.

Had a great blast in the SEAC today, god its great to own such a great car. Some people talk about owning them, some have owned them. BUT at the end of the day when you go to your garage and look through the window and see the beast,it makes life worth living.

AM I GETTING TO YOU YET TIM

a very happy Steve
